I believe that everyone has the capacity to enjoy a deep sense of ease and well-being and that Chinese medicine offers excellent tools to help us restore balance in our  bodies and minds, thus opening the door to our vitality.

My academic background prior to studying Chinese Medicine was in Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy, and Religious studies, which was deeply enriching. Cultivating awareness and understanding has been a labor of love throughout my life.

In addition to maintaining my private practice, I work as an acupuncturist at the Immune Enhancement Project (IEP) and for the Oregon Ballet Theater (OBT).

I am also an avid gardener and appreciator of the natural world,  both of which continually inspire and inform my work and my sensibility. To me, tending the outer and tending the inner have a great deal in common.
